Food & Wellness
Kids, food systems and schools need to be considered as an interconnected system. Schools can educate children about where their food comes from, give them hands-on experience in school gardens and also use their nutrition services departments to provide and educate about healthy food.
Student wellness encompasses these food aspects as well as physical activity and physical health.
